Responsibilities
- Implement software components using design documentation and functional programming specifications.
- Document, unit-test, and prepare components for integration into final products.
- Architect solutions, test code, deploy software, and build CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide work estimates and guide features, functional objectives, or technologies for interested parties.
- Develop scalable and robust software while contributing to automation, collaboration, and customer success.
Requirements
- Experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects; the posting leaves the number of years unspecified.
- Excellent coding and debugging skills with development experience in Java, Python, .NET, or comparable technologies.
- Experience with software development methodologies and scalable, robust software development.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, and REST-based web services.
- Knowledge of architecture design, microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, and messaging queues.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred certification in one or more hyperscalers, including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Preferred experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices.
