Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, enterprise architecture, and data architecture teams to clarify requirements and solve business problems.
- Analyze legacy systems and source code, perform gap analyses, and document functional requirements and architecture in Confluence.
- Design modular, scalable functional architectures, transition strategies, and integration points for legacy-system coexistence.
- Select technology stacks through proofs of concept and benchmarks and design robust technical architectures.
- Conduct code reviews and oversee implementation progress to ensure adherence to architectural standards.
- Support development teams with technical challenges and performance optimization.
- Align IT strategy and architecture with business transformation goals across global and multi-cloud environments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in full-stack architecture spanning infrastructure, data, microservices, and front-end systems.
- Experience designing APIs, web platforms, and mobile applications for credit, insurance, or compliance domains.
- Experience with data strategy, integration, orchestration, big-data applications, rules engines, infrastructure modernization, and on-premises/cloud migration.
- Experience leading Agile teams, coordinating outsourced development, operating in regulated environments, and managing security, compliance, and incidents.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture and integration patterns, UML, ArchiMate, ITIL, governance frameworks, DevOps, CI/CD, network and security architecture, containerization, API gateways, event-driven architecture, and serverless computing.
- Experience managing global IT teams and multi-cloud environments.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Cloud architecture, Agile, or cybersecurity certifications are preferred, as is experience in financial services, insurance, or compliance-driven industries.
- Fluent English is required; French or Romanian is a plus.
- Familiarity with TOGAF, SAFe, or COBIT is preferred.
