Responsibilities
- Lead the design, deployment, configuration, implementation, and administration of AVEVA AIM/AIM-A solutions.
- Translate business requirements into solution architecture, data models, platform configuration, and governance workflows.
- Configure AVEVA ISM standards, class libraries, mappings, information requirements, validation, and data-quality processes.
- Create AIM project setups, publish bootstrap and staging-area information, and configure Import Control workflows.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot AVEVA gateways, including DEG, DIG, and GCT.
- Create gateway projects, configurations, mappings, and output or null-file publishing flows.
- Prepare and validate 2D and 3D imports, source and output files, imported information, dashboards, and metadata visibility.
- Configure dashboards, visual reports, scheduled jobs, packages, view scripts, and data-quality or exception-management processes.
- Integrate AIM with engineering tools, DMS, SAP, PI System, and cloud services.
- Oversee data ingestion, transformation, loading, connectors, Workhub, visualization, access control, performance, and operational readiness.
- Engage client stakeholders, vendors, delivery teams, and cross-functional groups while managing scope, risks, dependencies, and delivery outcomes.
- Support adoption through demonstrations, training, governance, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience with AVEVA PDMS.
- 5–10 years of experience in Engineering Information Management, Digital Engineering, or enterprise application delivery.
- Strong hands-on experience with AVEVA AIM/AIM-A configuration, implementation, and administration.
- Knowledge of AVEVA ISM, data standards, class libraries, mappings, governance workflows, Work tasks, Data Pipeline, connectors, visualization, faceted search, and reporting.
- Experience integrating engineering platforms with DMS, SAP, PI System, and cloud services.
- Experience with AVEVA AIM/AIM-A, Gateway Service, Import Controller, and 2D/3D services.
- Exposure to SaaS or cloud deployment, APIs, ETL, web services, data pipelines, data-quality dashboards, reporting, information retrieval, AI-assisted enrichment, automated validation, and workflow orchestration.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 15 years of full-time education.
