- Communicate technical concepts, trade-offs, risks, and status to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Establish integration quality checks, governance practices, compliance standards, and data security and privacy controls.
- Evaluate and integrate NMT, LLM, and ML-assisted QA capabilities into localization workflows.
- Create requirements, architecture diagrams, implementation plans, technical documentation, and success criteria.
- Identify process gaps and automation opportunities that improve localization quality, speed, scalability, and efficiency.
- Drive integration initiatives from discovery through rollout, including workflow analysis, scope definition, milestone planning, dependency management, and cross-functional coordination.
- Partner with Localization, Engineering, Production, IT, and external vendors to gather requirements and define scalable implementation plans.
- Design and implement integrations across TMS, CAT, CMS, DAM, and ML-enabled platforms using APIs, connectors, and automated workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in localization engineering, solutions architecture, technical program delivery, or a similar integration-focused role.
- Strong program management and communication skills, including experience managing milestones, dependencies, risks, and business-to-technical translation.
- Solid understanding of localization workflows, including content handoff, versioning, terminology and translation memory management, review cycles, and multilingual delivery pipelines.
- Familiarity with localization platforms such as MemoQ, Smartling, XTM, and Gridly, along with XLIFF, TMX, JSON, XML, and CSV formats.
- Working knowledge of databases, ETL or data transformation, OAuth 2.0, SSO, and observability practices for monitoring workflow health.
- Hands-on scripting or automation experience, preferably with Python, and familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure.
- Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, data pipelines, and event-driven, batch, and real-time integration patterns.
- Experience delivering integrations across localization platforms, TMS, CAT, CMS, DAM, and external vendor environments.
- Multilingual capabilities and experience with localization service providers, large-scale live-service ecosystems, or multi-vendor content environments are preferred.
- Additional preferred experience includes Contentstack, AEM, Docker, Kubernetes, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Azure Logic Apps, MuleSoft, Workato, Power Automate, and ML integration for localization workflows.
