
Senior Embedded Application Development Lead

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software applications using C/C++.
- Participate in software architecture, design reviews, integration, and testing activities.
- Review technical requirements and contribute to engineering solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software performance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Lead and coordinate junior and mid-level software engineers.
- Assign and monitor engineering tasks and deliverables.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards.
- Support onboarding, technical training, continuous improvement, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Act as the technical focal point for stakeholders and offshore teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum six years of software development experience.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills and understanding of embedded systems.
- Experience across the software development lifecycle.
- Proven experience leading teams or mentoring engineers.
- Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Experience in safety-critical industries and RTOS environments is desirable.
- Knowledge of railway, aerospace, automotive, or industrial control systems is desirable.
- Familiarity with configuration and requirements management tools is desirable.
- Knowledge of ETCS/ERTMS railway signalling systems and Ada programming is desirable.
- Knowledge of DOORS, RTC, or similar tools is desirable.
