Responsibilities
- Define user requirements and develop functional specifications for small projects.
- Participate in application design reviews, programming, testing, production implementation, and maintenance of application code and integration components.
- Develop and support manufacturing systems using .NET technologies, C#, ASP.NET, AJAX, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Organize and manage individual projects or portions of larger projects, including tasks, teams, work plans, budgets, and completion dates.
- Oversee assigned production-system support, report issues to management, and evaluate new software products and processes.
- Participate in team activities, provide project status updates, and maintain on-call availability.
- Address production issues promptly and guide or train Help Desk staff on issue resolution.
Requirements
- Requires 2 to 3+ years of progressive Information Technology experience.
- Requires at least 1 year of development experience using the Microsoft Visual Studio Suite.
- Requires at least 1 year of programming experience in an object-oriented SOA environment.
- Requires at least 1 year of experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and AJAX.
- Requires at least 1 year of Microsoft SQL Server development experience.
- Experience designing graphical user interfaces and user interactions using WinForms or WebForms.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, the systems development life cycle, and all phases of systems development.
- Experience leading small-sized projects and supporting a functional business area.
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, independent learning, teamwork, and business problem-solving skills.
