Base Salary
$182k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own backend Go services for demand and capacity matching, fulfillment and delivery verification, metering-to-invoicing, and customer usage, cost, and invoice APIs
- Ensure audit-grade lineage so every billed dollar can be traced to verified usage
- Design and build internal services that help Capacity, Product, and other stakeholder teams improve efficiency
- Set SLAs, harden services, improve observability, and mature on-call operations
- Drive technical initiatives and mentor engineers as the team develops its Go and production engineering skills
- Collaborate with RevOps, Accounting, Finance, and Product
Requirements
- Experience shipping and scaling business-critical, financially compliant services
- Experience drafting and owning SLAs or SLOs, observability tooling, and sustainable on-call operations
- Strong focus on correctness, accuracy, completeness, and penny-precision
- Experience designing and evolving APIs and data models, including versioning, backward compatibility, and coordination with dependent teams
- Ability to build trustworthy systems, improve team reliability and operations, and mentor engineers
- Preferred production engineering experience with infrastructure, metrics, tracing, and money-critical services
- Preferred data engineering experience with telemetry ingestion, metering pipelines, warehouse systems, and SQL
- Preferred experience with billing, metering, rating, invoicing, or FinOps, such as FOCUS exports
