Base Salary
$180k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers and satellite operators to foster a SatDevOps culture.
- Design, implement, maintain, and scale reliable infrastructure in a hybrid cloud environment.
- Build tools, workflows, and environments that improve developer experience.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment workflows.
- Own and evolve observability systems covering metrics, tracing, and logs.
- Identify and resolve reliability issues, conduct root cause analyses, and implement long-term fixes.
- Design and operate Software Defined Networking solutions.
- Apply reliability, fault-tolerance, performance-tuning, and automation best practices.
Requirements
- Strong experience with public-cloud infrastructure, ideally GCP.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes architecture, deployment, operations, and resource optimization.
- Ability to design and build scalable, highly available systems.
- Familiarity with Software Defined Networking concepts and tools.
- Experience implementing and maintaining observability stacks such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.
- Proficiency in at least one of Go, Python, Rust, C, C++, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automation.
- Proven experience in fast-paced, high-growth technical environments.
- Strong problem-solving, independent-operation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with ArgoCD, FluxCD, FinOps, orchestration in resource-constrained environments, systems engineering tools, SDLC governance, security practices, vulnerability scanning, threat detection, and risk mitigation.
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field is preferred.
