Responsibilities
- Develop, test, analyze, maintain, and support new and existing software applications.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and brainstorming sessions.
- Create program and system documentation.
- Analyze and resolve software errors accurately and promptly.
- Consult with users, architects, project leaders, and management to resolve problems and recommend alternatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strongly preferred knowledge of Java and RESTful services.
- Strongly preferred experience with a modern integrated development environment.
- Preferred or beneficial experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, Angular, React, container deployments, and source control management software.
- Ability to learn and effectively use the tools and software development techniques adopted by the IT Division.
- Enthusiasm for identifying and implementing solutions to new challenges.
