Base Salary
$165k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with SRE to develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems.
- Work with Security to implement and enforce security best practices across infrastructure and applications.
- Collaborate with software developers to optimize application performance and reliability.
- Plan and execute disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
- Prioritize work with a focus on improving developer efficiency.
- Communicate project statuses, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide system support.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in a DevOps role.
- At least two years of experience with Terraform.
- Expert knowledge of cloud concepts and services including EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, A/ELB, EBS, VPC, and Route53, or equivalents.
- Expert-level Linux knowledge and strong scripting skills for automation and tooling.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, resolve, and document root-cause analyses of incidents.
- Knowledge of database configuration, concepts, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Thorough understanding of security principles and experience designing, implementing, and monitoring appropriate controls.
- Extensive experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools such as Terraform and SaltStack, or equivalents.
- Experience with Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and ECS, including managing microservices architectures.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions, or equivalents.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog and CloudWatch, or equivalents.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
