Base Salary
$87k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications.
- Develop efficient, effective, production-ready end-to-end software solutions.
- Use C++ and modeling and simulation frameworks to build and enhance applications.
- Analyze current and future architecture and operating environments when designing solutions.
- Write source code for new applications and generate or enhance code samples for existing applications.
- Create solutions to complex problems and identify system improvements in a collaborative environment.
- Analyze client requirements and optimize workflows through automation.
- Use automated testing tools for software testing and maintenance.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using Agile methods.
- At least 3 years of experience working with C++.
- Experience with modeling and simulation frameworks.
- Experience writing source code for new applications or enhancing code samples for existing applications.
- Experience creating solutions to complex problems in a collaborative team environment.
- Secret clearance and eligibility for access to classified information.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Preferred experience with simulation models involving radar, sensors, or aircraft.
- Preferred experience with pre- or post-processing scripting for large data sets.
- Preferred experience with AFSIM, EAAGLES, FLAMES, Unreal, or RavEngine.
- Preferred experience with data modeling architecture, automated testing tools, and software engineering or product management practices.
