Base Salary
$70k - $126k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and deploying modern C++ applications.
- Integrate and manage SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and container vulnerability scanning tools.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using infrastructure as code.
- Optimize compilation times, build scalability, and deployment reliability in collaboration with software, systems, and hardware engineers.
- Support software integration and deployment in operational, simulated, and hardware-in-the-loop testing environments.
- Enforce cybersecurity compliance and hardening guidelines across Linux-based development and runtime environments.
- Troubleshoot build failures, environment disparities, and pipeline bottlenecks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline from an ABET-accredited school.
- At least 2 years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, or software engineering with a strong focus on infrastructure and pipeline automation.
- Strong experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines, including GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in Linux environments, advanced shell scripting, system administration, and performance tuning.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Podman and orchestration tools.
- Strong experience with Python or other scripting languages for automation.
- Familiarity with building and packaging modern C++ applications.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
- Preferred experience includes SonarQube, Fortify, Nexus, Artifactory, Ansible, Terraform, ZeroMQ, Angular TypeScript, Flask, SQL databases, radar or sensor systems, hardware-in-the-loop environments, and military cybersecurity standards such as NIST SP 800-53 and RMF.
