Responsibilities
- Develop secure, reliable, and scalable connectivity between transit hardware and cloud platforms.
- Design and maintain edge and IoT solutions that improve operational performance and service delivery.
- Translate sensor and on-site system data into actionable intelligence and data-driven insights.
- Apply software engineering and testing practices to improve delivery quality and release confidence.
- Identify blockers, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and design scalable solutions.
- Maintain high-quality documentation and clean source control while continuing to develop relevant skills.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven work experience as an IoT Engineer.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, including branching and merging models.
- Exposure to Agile methodology and Agile development teams.
- Knowledge and practical experience of cloud services and best practices.
- GoLang experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the United Kingdom.
