Base Salary
$256k - $361k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct applied research and develop innovative AI and machine learning models, including deep learning, reinforcement learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and time-series prediction models.
- Perform literature reviews, technical assessments, and foundational research to identify opportunities and inform technical strategy.
- Develop proof-of-concept models and transition them into production-ready solutions for business-critical challenges.
- Lead model evaluation, training, monitoring, and deployment activities.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and researchers and help build collaborative research communities.
- Align technical vision and strategy with organizational and business goals and drive innovation across Intel.
Requirements
- PhD in a STEM field with a focus on foundational IP development.
- 10+ years of professional experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with power and performance prediction of IPs, preferably memory and logic foundational IPs.
- At least 3 years of proficiency in Python and advanced programming for AI and machine learning model development.
- At least 5 years of in-depth knowledge of AI fundamentals and experience developing AI or machine learning models.
- At least 5 years of experience with algorithm research and development, model evaluation, training, monitoring, and deployment processes.
- Preferred qualifications include Design and Technology Co-optimization knowledge, AI agent development, prototyping, systems thinking, technical documentation, stakeholder communication, and coaching or mentoring technical leaders.
