Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, debug, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality production software solutions.
  • Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
  • Develop full-stack solutions using Python, React, database querying languages, and testing frameworks including Playwright and Pytest.
  • Use authorized AI coding and automation tools to support code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Analyze large and diverse datasets and create visualizations and reports to identify system and coding improvements.
  • Apply software development lifecycle, application resiliency, security, and agile engineering practices.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining software in a large corporate environment using Python, React.js, and database querying languages.
  • Experience with Playwright and Pytest or comparable testing frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or other authorized AI-assisted software development tools, including critically evaluating and refining generated outputs.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Preferred experience includes payment processing, modern front-end technologies, cloud technologies, large language models, ChatGPT, Google Bard, LangChain, retrieval-augmented generation, and LLM fine-tuning.
