Base Salary
$170k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end product features across frontend and backend systems.
- Write maintainable code using React and TypeScript or JavaScript on the frontend and Node.js and Express or similar frameworks on the backend.
- Lead the design and delivery of mission-critical backend APIs and services with attention to performance, security, and maintainability.
- Build and improve web application features for child care businesses.
- Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and drive improvements to frontend and backend architecture.
- Interact directly with customers to gather feedback and understand their needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full stack or software development experience with meaningful frontend and backend experience.
- Proficiency in React and TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express or similar backend frameworks.
- Experience designing and maintaining production RESTful APIs.
- Experience operating cloud systems, including infrastructure, performance tuning, and reliability practices; GCP is preferred.
- Ability to prioritize high-impact work and ship quickly.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and ownership skills.
- Demonstrated ownership of high-impact, complex projects from concept to completion.
