Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select among available technologies.
- Review other developers’ code and provide feedback on style, accuracy, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their effects on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions while managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience programming in C++ and JavaScript.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience developing web technologies, web platforms, identity management, Chromium, or generative AI agents.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
Benefits
- Canada base pay is $150000–$153000 CAD, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
- The role supports Chrome across iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux, and Chrome OS.
