Responsibilities
- Build agentic AI systems that automate diagnostics and decision-making in engineering workflows.
- Develop and validate machine learning models for forecasting, quoting, and operational optimization.
- Analyze structured and unstructured enterprise data and perform feature engineering.
- Develop LLM-based agents through prompt design, tool integration, and fallback orchestration.
- Assist with model and agent deployment using cloud technologies and secure enterprise pipelines.
- Participate in AI governance and help models comply with data policies and learn from feedback.
- Work with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver AI solutions.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a master's degree in a related field.
- Strong foundation in machine learning and data science, including regression, classification, and time series modeling.
- Proficiency in Python, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and SQL.
- Understanding of generative AI and LLMs, with interest in prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and tool integration.
- Ability to analyze structured and unstructured data, perform feature engineering, and build interpretable models.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Current enrollment in a master's program and developing professional knowledge in the relevant area.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Preferred qualifications include interest in leading project teams, organization, attention to detail, independence, teamwork, and a commitment to high-quality work.

- Competitive hourly pay of $22.50–$25.00, with potential higher rates for graduate students based on year in school and overtime eligibility after 40 hours per week where applicable.
