Responsibilities

  • Support wireless connectivity customers through evaluation, development, and production cycles.
  • Build embedded application software integrating UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO, and wireless protocol stacks.
  • Create customer demos and reference solutions using IEEE 802.15.4-based protocols, including Zigbee, Thread, Matter, and Proprietary RF.
  • Develop, test, debug, review, and release maintainable embedded software products.
  • Define requirements, software strategies, project plans, and product improvements with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Diagnose software issues across peripheral interfaces, RTOS environments, protocol stacks, and production systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of relevant engineering experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience with C programming.
  • Familiarity with wireless communication protocols.
  • Ability to work at the hardware/software boundary, read schematics and datasheets, and trace embedded software bugs.
  • Preferred experience includes microcontroller applications, embedded software test methodologies, serial peripheral interfaces, IEEE 802.15.4 protocols, FreeRTOS, TI SimpleLink SDK, CCS IDE, and hardware debug tools.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, organization, accountability, initiative, time management, and problem-solving skills.
