Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of scalable systems for measuring customer experience and digital product performance.
- Drive system architecture, technical direction, engineering best practices, and the team roadmap.
- Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and technical stakeholders across Amazon to solve complex problems and meet evolving needs.
- Expand automation using AWS IoT and GenAI and develop self-service visual and audio analytics capabilities.
- Use AI and quantitative analysis to evaluate latency, quality, and customer experience with data.
- Mentor junior engineers and developers and establish a high bar for engineering practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of Object Oriented Design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
Benefits
- Base salary range is $143,700.00-$194,400.00 USD annually, with additional sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
