Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance embedded flight software controlling onboard payload functions.
- Develop and improve ground support tools.
- Participate in software design, implementation, testing, integration, and operational support.
- Support on-orbit anomaly investigations and root-cause analysis with operations and systems engineering teams.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
Requirements
- Level 1 requires a bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of experience.
- Level 2 requires a bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline plus 2+ years of relevant software engineering experience, or a master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 0 years of experience.
- Demonstrate proficiency in C++ and object-oriented programming with production or large-scale laboratory codebase experience.
- Have software development experience on Unix/Linux; coursework or project experience is accepted for Level 1.
- Hold an active U.S. Government Secret clearance at the time of application.
- Preferred qualifications include Perl, Python, Java, Atlassian tools, VxWorks, Simics or similar simulation environments, software integration, system-level testing, and regression testing experience.
