Responsibilities
- Develop clean, scalable, maintainable backend code and cloud-native, service-oriented solutions on AWS and Kubernetes.
- Build microservices, prototypes, proof-of-concepts, production software, RESTful APIs, and enterprise integrations.
- Conduct code reviews, refactor code, troubleshoot complex issues, and improve application performance.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated tests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, evaluate technologies, and promote coding standards, security guidelines, and engineering best practices.
- Use monitoring tools, support continuous improvement, and share technical knowledge with the team.
Requirements
- 4+ years of backend development experience with Node.js, TypeScript, or Python.
- 4+ years of experience developing microservice applications.
- Proficiency with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, RESTful API design, application design patterns, and code testing including unit testing.
- Experience with SonarQube, larger teams, and Agile or DevOps environments; Infrastructure as Code experience is a plus.
- Degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Fluent English, strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and effective written and verbal communication.
