$172k - $203k/yr

Responsibilities

Own the Fondue product and its underlying cashback, discounting, and incentives architecture.
Design and implement solutions across evolving distributed systems with significant ambiguity and autonomy.
Decouple and modularize monolithic dependencies into independently deployable components.
Implement AI-first coding practices and tooling to accelerate development.
Help subsidiary products adopt Postscript’s core tools, data formats, and technical standards.
Architect, build, and maintain highly available, scalable APIs for internal and external use.
Collaborate with finance and customer support teams on cross-functional initiatives.
Identify and eliminate single points of failure while improving system resilience and knowledge redundancy.

4+ years of experience building large-scale backend systems and APIs.
Experience with TypeScript; Go is preferred, with Python and Java also valued.
Experience with autoscaling applications deployed on Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
Comfort using agentic coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, SQL, and database modeling.
Familiarity with building and observing applications on AWS; Datadog experience is preferred.
Experience with both 0-to-1 initiatives and complex existing systems.
React experience is a strong plus.
Strong communication, independent investigation, technical design, and distributed-systems skills.
