Base Salary
$200k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with business teams to identify and prioritize high-impact, frequent manual workflows.
- Build multi-step, tool-augmented agent workflows that plan, execute, observe outcomes, and improve iteratively.
- Design planner-executor, reflection-based, stateful, and human-in-the-loop agent architectures with approval gates, fallback paths, and escalation mechanisms.
- Use the Agentic AI Foundations platform for runtime, orchestration, memory, tool registry, guardrails, and observability, while providing feedback on platform priorities.
- Develop differentiated internal solutions using LLMs, multi-agent frameworks, and orchestration platforms.
- Discover reusable agent design patterns and contribute them to the Agentic AI Foundations paved paths.
- Use evaluation and tracing infrastructure for continuous performance assessment, failure-mode analysis, and optimization of agent speed and accuracy.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years focused on AI/ML systems or LLM-powered applications in production.
- Deep hands-on experience with LLM APIs and at least one agentic framework such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
- Strong Python skills and experience building production-grade backend services, APIs, and data pipelines.
- Experience independently defining, building, and measuring solutions in ambiguous problem spaces.
- Experience shipping AI or automation solutions that directly impacted business operations.
- Strong systems thinking with an emphasis on reliability, observability, and maintainability.
- Ability to collaborate directly with non-technical business stakeholders and translate workflows into technical solutions.
- Preferred experience with multi-agent systems, workflow orchestration, or complex production tool-use patterns.
- Preferred familiarity with AI evaluation frameworks such as LangSmith, Weights & Biases, Arize, or custom evaluation pipelines.
- Preferred experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases, knowledge graphs, memory or grounding systems, and real-time or streaming AI systems.
- Preferred familiarity with AI safety and security practices, regulated industries, MCP, function calling, and AWS-hosted LLM infrastructure or equivalent cloud ML services.
