Responsibilities
- Build scalable microservices using Node.js or .NET on Azure.
- Develop cloud-native microservices and microfrontends using event-driven patterns.
- Partner with product, design, QA, and business teams to shape solutions from ideation through customer impact.
- Own features end to end from design through production.
- Apply TDD, automated testing, code reviews, refactoring, and hands-on mentorship.
- Improve architecture, performance, observability, and engineering practices.
- Use modern development tools, including AI-enabled tools, to accelerate development, testing, documentation, and innovation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience at a software product company.
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET; Node.js or similar frameworks are a plus.
- Hands-on experience with TDD and unit/integration test automation.
- Experience building cloud-native microservices and microfrontends with event-driven patterns.
- Experience integrating Azure SQL and Cosmos DB.
- Experience with modern DevOps practices, containers, and infrastructure as code.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Consultancy experience is considered only when it includes product engineering in healthcare payments or similar domains.
