Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain an automation QA framework, test cases, and tools for validating complete data center storage solutions.
- Develop automated tests for new solutions and feature sets.
- Use system-level and custom IOCTL calls to validate storage products.
- Improve the efficiency and capabilities of the automated QA test framework.
- Debug and triage test case and product failures with QA and development teams.
- Maintain servers and hardware and software components used for continuous automated testing.
- Track tasks and provide estimates while following the Agile methodology.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- At least 2 years of programming experience using C++ and Bash shell scripting.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design and programming best practices.
- Strong analysis, debugging, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Experience working in multithreaded environments and with Linux operating systems.
- Preferred: experience applying memory management techniques in low-memory environments.
- Preferred: familiarity with server storage technologies and concepts such as RAID and SCSI.
- Preferred: experience with Java, Python, and/or Perl.
