Responsibilities
- Define software test plans and write complex automated test suites and test cases.
- Perform testing and validation for complex oscilloscope software and related test-and-measurement instruments.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using C# and Python.
- Collaborate with R&D project managers, product planners, product architects, solution teams, FPGA and hardware developers, software engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Work with design teams located in the US, Europe, and Malaysia.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum three years of R&D experience in product software quality assurance.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests for test-and-measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes, Quantum Control Systems, and arbitrary waveform generators using C# and Python.
- Solid understanding of electronics concepts and software-testing principles and methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Preferred familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio, Git, Pytest, Eggplant, Jenkins, Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket.
- Preferred familiarity with Agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines.
