Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of complex embedded software systems for the Digital Healthcare Disease Management team.
- Drive integration of digital healthcare algorithms and improve system-level architectures.
- Develop solutions to complex technical problems and optimize memory, latency, battery life, and overall system performance.
- Collaborate with algorithm, biomedical, hardware, systems, regulatory, product, business-unit, and customer-facing teams.
- Define software architectures supporting regulatory, clinical, and commercial healthcare-product requirements.
- Provide technical leadership on strategic projects and influence cross-functional technical decisions.
- Drive technical innovation and best practices across teams.
- Mentor and develop technical talent within the organization.
Requirements
- Advanced expertise in embedded systems architecture and deep understanding of hardware-software interfaces and integration.
- Extensive experience with System-on-Chip development and optimization.
- Strong experience with physiological sensing pipelines, sensor fusion, and real-time data acquisition systems.
- Expertise optimizing complex embedded systems for memory, latency, battery life, and overall performance.
- Proven technical leadership, cross-functional influence, mentoring, and complex system architecture experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of open-source, proprietary, and hybrid software licensing models.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated build and test processes, and version control systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in embedded software development.
- Master's degree is preferred and a PhD is a plus.
