Responsibilities
- Design, provision, and maintain resilient multi-cloud AWS and GCP infrastructure for AI/ML workloads.
- Automate cloud infrastructure and environment provisioning with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Build CI/CD/CT MLOps pipelines for model training, testing, validation, packaging, deployment, monitoring, and observability.
- Enable and support data science platforms including Amazon SageMaker Unified Studio, Snowflake Cortex AI, and Snowflake ML.
- Deploy and manage EKS or GKE clusters, including node pools, autoscaling, and compute/GPU resources.
- Partner with data scientists and cross-functional security, data center, and cloud infrastructure teams on AI/ML architecture, governance, and best practices.
- Create reusable reference architectures, blueprints, golden paths, and enterprise adoption patterns for AI/ML products.
Requirements
- Deep production-level expertise in AWS or GCP, with working knowledge of or adaptability to the other cloud.
- Experience with AWS services including EKS, S3, IAM, EC2, ECR, SageMaker AI, CloudWatch, Redshift, and Lambda.
- Experience with GCP services including GKE, GCS, Cloud IAM, Artifact Registry, Vertex AI, Cloud Logging/Monitoring, BigQuery, and Cloud Functions.
- Advanced Docker containerization skills, including multi-stage builds and image optimization for PyTorch and TensorFlow workloads.
- Experience building deployment pipelines with GitHub Actions and infrastructure as code with CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Understanding of cloud and container networking, routing, TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP/2, and least-privilege access management.
- Strong scripting and programming proficiency in Python, Bash, and SQL.
- Familiarity with configuring Kubernetes for machine learning workloads.
- Experience supporting enterprise data and ML platforms and evaluating emerging AI/ML and cloud technologies.
- AWS or Google Cloud DevOps certification is a plus.
