Base Salary
$158k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own multi-cluster, multi-region Kubernetes deployments across AWS, GCP, and Azure, including failover and disaster recovery.
- Build internal tools for creating and managing clusters consistently from development through production.
- Design isolated workload strategies for ML and API traffic while balancing cost, performance, and reliability.
- Implement infrastructure security controls including RBAC, workload identity, secrets management, data residency, and audit trails.
- Define enforceable SLOs and SLIs and own observability and uptime.
- Own CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and infrastructure as code using Pulumi.
- Manage Docker environments across development, staging, and production.
- Debug issues across the engineering environment and automate repetitive work to improve developer productivity.
- Run incident response and write postmortems that drive organizational learning.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Deep Kubernetes expertise beyond basic deployment-level knowledge.
- Experience with Pulumi or Terraform, Docker, and GitHub Actions across multi-cluster, multi-region environments.
- Strong understanding of failure modes, reliability, disaster recovery, and incident response.
- Ability to translate compliance and legal requirements into infrastructure constraints.
- Core experience as a DevOps or infrastructure engineer with enough full-stack range to troubleshoot across systems.
- Expert-level debugging skills and a systematic approach to finding root causes.
- Startup experience is preferred but not required.
- Interest in LLMs and enthusiasm for building AI-powered products.
