Responsibilities
- Translate platform architecture and product requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
- Design cloud-native solutions using APIs, microservices, event-driven patterns, and modern engineering practices.
- Define modernization paths for existing systems to reduce complexity and improve reliability, scalability, and supportability.
- Integrate enterprise systems, Salesforce, CRM, ERP, business applications, data platforms, and AI-enabled services.
- Identify opportunities for AI, automation, and newer technologies to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Create reusable architecture patterns and technical standards for secure, resilient, observable, and maintainable solutions.
- Provide technical direction through architecture reviews, design discussions, and hands-on guidance.
- Partner with product, business, and engineering teams to align scalable technical solutions with business priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Typically 15+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud development, architecture, or similar technical roles.
- Experience designing and delivering customer-facing digital platforms and enterprise-scale systems.
- Hands-on experience integrating enterprise applications, APIs, data platforms, cloud services, and business systems.
- Practical experience with AI-enabled solutions, intelligent automation, or modern integration architectures.
- Strong track record building distributed, secure, scalable, and reliable systems.
- Ability to influence technical direction across teams and align architecture decisions with business priorities.
- Clear communication skills for explaining technical trade-offs to engineering, business, and leadership audiences.
- Experience with enterprise and solution architecture, cloud-native architecture, API-first design, microservices, event-driven architecture, application modernization, enterprise systems integration, and intelligent automation.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform; Kubernetes; containers; observability tools such as New Relic or Datadog; and technologies such as Angular, Node.js, Express.js, or Java.
