Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AI/Kubernetes infrastructure solutions on Nutanix HCI platforms.
- Advise clients on Kubernetes configuration and best practices for AI workloads.
- Develop and upstream capabilities for Kubernetes and CNCF projects.
- Create solution documentation, deployment guides, and knowledge-sharing resources.
- Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, availability, and resource efficiency for AI model execution.
- Provide subject-matter expertise on GPU acceleration and its integration into AI workflows.
- Troubleshoot customer AI/Kubernetes infrastructures and provide ongoing support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to align infrastructure with client strategies and improve project outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience designing and implementing infrastructure for data-intensive Kubernetes workloads.
- Strong Kubernetes container-orchestration expertise and proficiency in networking concepts and architecture.
- Experience with Git and GitHub workflows, infrastructure as code using Terraform or Ansible, and DevOps automation.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and AI workload security, cybersecurity requirements, deployment lifecycles, and LLM inference resource requirements.
- Experience with GPU acceleration technologies such as NVIDIA CUDA in containerized environments.
- Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana.
- Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, collaboration, problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.
- Experience with Hyperconverged Infrastructure platforms is preferred.
