Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications and APIs using .NET Core and Microsoft technologies.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, product managers, and other stakeholders on scalable software solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code according to coding standards and best practices.
- Implement and optimize SQL Server, MySQL, and other databases for secure and efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs into .NET Core applications.
- Conduct code reviews and debugging to maintain application quality and performance.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
- Participate in Agile sprints, daily stand-ups, and iterative development processes.
- Implement encryption, authentication, authorization, and other application security practices.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize code and infrastructure for scalability and speed.
- Keep current with .NET Core, cloud services, and modern software engineering practices.
Requirements
- Must reside in Chile or Colombia.
- Advanced English skills.
- Experience developing web applications with .NET Core and the .NET Framework.
- Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core for web applications and APIs.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs with .NET Core.
- Proficiency with SQL databases, including complex queries and database optimization.
- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, or React and their integration with backend services.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies.
- Experience deploying and managing .NET Core applications in Azure or AWS.
- Strong knowledge of web security practices, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Preferred: experience with MongoDB or Redis.
- Preferred: familiarity with microservices architecture, distributed systems, cloud-native development, and serverless architecture.
- Preferred: experience with xUnit, NUnit, automated testing, and test-driven development.
- Preferred: familiarity with DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD automation.
- Preferred: experience with Blazor.
