Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance GNSS and inertial-navigation technology.
- Design and improve embedded firmware algorithms, filters, and mechanization.
- Integrate and evaluate new IMUs and investigate sensor technologies and positioning techniques.
- Collect, test, and methodically analyze real-world GNSS/INS and sensor data.
- Develop new tools and utilities for sensor-fusion engineering.
- Collaborate with other departments to analyze and debug customer applications and data.
- Investigate problems, resolve system defects, and define functional and performance requirements.
- Design, code, and test software for scheduled, quality-focused production releases.
- Assist Applications Engineers with complex customer integrations and use cases.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical, Geomatics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 4 years of industry experience.
- Comfort writing code in C, C++, and Python.
- Knowledge of software development practices and methodologies.
- Strong data-analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of coordinate systems and reference frames.
- Knowledge of GNSS/INS systems and filtering techniques such as least-squares and Kalman filtering is preferred.
- Familiarity with geodetic principles, embedded systems, or mechatronic systems is preferred.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Fluent English communication skills and the ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team.
