Base Salary
$170k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, document, and optimize backend services for Bilt’s mobile app and website.
- Implement microservices using Java and Quarkus.
- Investigate and use Google Cloud Platform services to improve application architecture.
- Enhance infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, monitoring, and alerting automation initiatives.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle and write testable, efficient code.
- Coach and mentor junior resources while collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
- Drive engineering best practices and ensure the technical feasibility of integrations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience.
- Hands-on software development experience.
- Demonstrable Java development experience.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility in a startup environment with changing processes.
- Knowledge of the startup world is preferred.
