Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP solutions across ECC and S/4HANA environments.
- Lead technical design, development, and implementation for SAP projects and enhancement initiatives.
- Develop reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, workflows, APIs, and integrations.
- Build solutions using ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, RAP, OData Services, and SAP Gateway.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with functional teams.
- Drive code quality, performance optimization, SAP development standards, custom code remediation, and Clean Core practices.
- Support S/4HANA transformation initiatives and transport, change-control, and release-management processes.
- Mentor development teams and serve as the technical escalation point for complex issues.
- Lead technical discussions and design workshops while influencing technical decisions across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 12–15+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, or transformation programs.
- Advanced expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP, ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, RAP, OData Services, SAP Gateway, Fiori integrations, SAP performance optimization, and SAP transport management.
- Hands-on experience delivering SAP technical solutions in SAP MM and SAP LE/WM domains.
- Experience with SAP CTS/CTS+, ChaRM, Solution Manager, Rev-Trac, or equivalent transport and release-management solutions.
- Experience working in global delivery and cross-functional environments.
- Experience with SAP BTP and SAP Integration Suite is preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP Clean Core principles and extensibility frameworks is preferred.
- SAP ABAP on HANA and/or SAP S/4HANA certifications are preferred.
- Experience in Agile delivery environments and prior Technical Lead or Solution Lead experience are preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-management, collaboration, leadership, documentation, presentation, mentoring, and coaching skills.
