Responsibilities
- Define multi-quarter roadmaps for emerging AI productivity initiatives and align platform capabilities with business priorities and LLM infrastructure.
- Lead end-to-end design reviews for high-throughput distributed systems and architect secure, scalable integrations across agent frameworks and large-scale data engines.
- Set standards for system reliability, test automation, code health, SLOs, and automated evaluation of platform accuracy, latency, and quota utilization.
- Advise internal partner teams, AI researchers, and developer communities and translate feedback into scalable platform features and standardized API agreements.
- Embed Privacy, Safety, and Security principles into agent profiling, synthetic evaluation generation, and in-SQL model execution.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions while managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems focused on scalability, fault tolerance, and reliability.
- Experience in a technical leadership role overseeing projects and managing engineers.
- Experience with system design, system architecture, distributed systems, software engineering, and full-stack development.
- Experience building developer tools that improve development velocity, code quality, or code health, such as CI/CD systems, compilers, or test automation frameworks.
- Experience with one or more programming or scripting languages, including Python, Go, Java, C++, Bash, or Groovy.
- Preferred experience with LLMs, agentic architectures, distributed systems, compilers or AST analysis, and SQL or database internals.
- Preferred track record designing and maintaining high-scale distributed systems, APIs, or developer platforms in Python and TypeScript.
