Responsibilities
- Shape security transformation strategies for high-value customers across SIEM, threat detection, and AI-driven security operations.
- Advise CISOs and senior technical decision-makers and translate business and security requirements into enterprise-grade architectures.
- Lead competitive displacement campaigns and complex, multi-stakeholder technical sales engagements.
- Mobilize resources across Cisco and Splunk to support strategic customer wins.
- Mentor and upskill the APJC technical field through workshops, reference architectures, and repeatable technical sales motions.
- Represent APJC customer needs to global product and engineering teams through market, competitive, and regional insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, master’s degree with 6+ years, PhD with 3+ years, or equivalent practical experience.
- Significant experience in cybersecurity, security operations, security architecture, or technical pre-sales and consulting.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise SIEM, threat detection, response, and modern security architecture.
- Experience engaging senior technical leaders and translating complex business and security requirements into enterprise solutions.
- Experience leading complex technical sales engagements across diverse geographic and cultural environments.
- Expertise with enterprise security and the broader Cisco security portfolio is preferred.
- Understanding of SOC transformation, detection engineering, threat hunting, security automation, agentic security architectures, SIEM, XDR, and security data platforms is preferred.
- Experience creating technical enablement materials, reference designs, or scalable technical assets is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and experience in regional or APJC-wide technical leadership are preferred.
