Responsibilities
- Develop test automation scripts using C#, Selenium, and Protractor.
- Perform API, web services, functional, end-to-end, sanity, regression, performance, and load testing.
- Enhance the automation framework and support continuous integration with automated smoke and regression suites.
- Design, document, review, and improve test cases, coverage, and automation scripts.
- Use SQL joins and subqueries to validate test results against the underlying database.
- Execute, monitor, and analyze test results against organizational metrics.
- Identify test coverage gaps, perform root cause analysis of escaped defects, and create test scenarios to address gaps.
- Track, manage, and resolve defects using TFS.
- Collaborate with product owners, functional analysts, developers, QA teams, release/deployment teams, and product management.
- Provide testing input during requirements refinement and clarify requirements with stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in automation testing using C#, Java, or Python.
- Experience with automation testing, API testing, BDD Cucumber, Selenium, Postman, REST Assured, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Apache JMeter for performance and load testing.
- Experience testing APIs and web services using tools such as Postman.
- Experience designing test cases with various testing techniques.
- Good SQL skills, including joins and subqueries.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development.
- BE, MCA, or equivalent degree/experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Exposure to LoadRunner, JMeter, or Visual Studio Load Test is preferred.
