Responsibilities
- Develop automated test scripts using C#, Selenium, and Protractor.
- Enhance the automation framework and support continuous integration with automated smoke and regression test suites.
- Provide testing input during refinement of requirements for new and updated product features.
- Design, document, review, and execute end-to-end, sanity, regression, functional, API, performance, and load tests.
- Perform API and web-services testing using tools such as Postman or other API tools.
- Use SQL joins and subqueries to validate test results against the underlying database.
- Identify test-coverage gaps, perform root-cause analysis of escaped defects, and create scenarios to address gaps.
- Execute, monitor, and analyze test results against organizational metrics.
- Track, manage, and resolve defects using TFS, coordinating issue resolution with QA, development, and product teams.
- Participate in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in automation testing using C#, Java, or Python.
- Experience with automation testing, C# or Java, API testing, BDD Cucumber, Selenium, Postman, Rest Assured, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Apache JMeter for performance and load testing.
- Experience designing test cases using varied testing techniques.
- Good SQL skills, including joins and subqueries.
- Knowledge of web API testing and test-result validation.
- Exposure to LoadRunner, JMeter, or Visual Studio Load Test is desirable.
- BE, MCA, or equivalent degree/experience.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
