Responsibilities
- Assist with software requirements design and validation and identify test coverage gaps, risks, and quality measures.
- Develop detailed test strategies, plans, scripts, procedures, estimates, and risk analyses.
- Prepare and manage complex test environments and test data conditions.
- Manage validation and integrated testing phases, including execution, monitoring, defect tracking, and regression testing.
- Design and manage automated testing approaches, frameworks, and automation of manual tests.
- Perform functional, integration, end-to-end, performance, load, and stress testing.
- Analyze defects technically and functionally, troubleshoot test-environment errors, and collaborate with development engineers on solutions.
- Analyze application and platform quality metrics and provide performance and architecture guidance.
- Support product teams, project managers, customers, vendors, and sales with testing, sizing, training, and quality guidance.
- Ensure requirements traceability, escalate quality issues appropriately, and support projects without compromising quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience in software testing.
- At least 5 years of Quality Assurance and/or systems testing experience.
- At least 3 years of test automation experience.
- Experience with test management and defect management tools.
- Preferred experience with Linux and operating-system architecture.
- Relevant software quality certification is preferred.
- Preferred experience testing BASE24-eps, payment transaction flows for VISA, Mastercard, and Banknet, and the Asset Simulator.
