Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and maintain software solutions for financial processes.
- Participate in the software development lifecycle and develop new software features.
- Write, document, and maintain high-quality software in compliance with coding standards and technical designs.
- Use accounting expertise to identify gaps and improve automation and reconciliation workflows.
- Evaluate and deploy software tools, processes, and metrics.
- Provide support and consulting for software-system usage.
- Ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards.
Requirements
- Prior experience as an accountant or financial analyst.
- Understanding of financial operations including reconciliation, reporting, and compliance.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including relational data storage and retrieval.
- Experience with backend API development.
- Familiarity with software engineering tools, development methodology, and release processes.
- Required experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
