Base Salary
$150k - $186k/yr
Responsibilities
- Advise high-value customers on DigitalOcean products, cloud infrastructure best practices, and AI/ML solutions.
- Perform architecture reviews, proofs of concept, demonstrations, technical consultations, workshops, and customer training.
- Design, deploy, fine-tune, and optimize LLM, GenAI, GPU, chatbot, inference, and recommendation-system workloads.
- Guide onboarding, resolve technical blockers, manage escalations, and support customer retention and expansion.
- Identify cloud cost-reduction and performance-improvement opportunities using data-driven analysis.
- Design AI solutions, manage data pipelines, integrate databases, and implement infrastructure management practices.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Support, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams on customer outcomes and product improvements.
- Build tools and documentation that improve Premium Support customer experience and platform usability.
- Promote technical best practices and process improvements across the organization.
Requirements
- Professional experience with cloud infrastructure, AI/ML platforms, or equivalent education.
- Expertise with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, LLM deployment and fine-tuning, and GenAI models such as DeepSeek, Llama, Claude, or GPT-4.
- Deep knowledge of Linux, distributed systems, Kubernetes, NFS, Object Storage, GPU optimization, CUDA, and TensorRT.
- Hands-on experience with vLLM and quantization methods including INT4, INT8, and FP8.
- Programming or development experience building AI-powered applications such as recommendation systems and chatbots.
- Experience in post-sales or technical consulting roles focused on AI/ML and cloud solutions.
- Knowledge of provisioning, deployment strategies, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Understanding of AI/ML data pipelines, cloud-native databases, and integration strategies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical AI/ML concepts clearly.
- Fluency in English and the ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS, GCP, Oracle, Azure, NVIDIA, Cisco, Juniper, or Linux certifications; experience with Ruby, Python, Go, Bash, Git, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack, KVM, Xen, MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, PostgreSQL, CoreOS, Vagrant, and DigitalOcean APIs or services.
