Responsibilities
- Analyze business needs and lead scoping workshops.
- Define, develop, and optimize SQL and cloud data architectures.
- Build and maintain data pipelines, conduct code reviews, and support testing and production releases.
- Maintain DevOps practices under a “You build IT, You run IT” operating model.
- Provide technical guidance, recommendations, code reviews, and certification support to team members in France.
- Monitor technology developments, manage relationships with software vendors, participate in meetups and hackathons, and contribute to technical articles and experience reports.
- Support strategic client projects with occasional travel in France and internationally.
Requirements
- Higher-education qualification from an engineering school or equivalent master's-level training.
- At least 6 years of professional experience, including consulting experience focused on client satisfaction and partnership.
- Strong SQL and Python development skills and solid experience implementing data pipelines.
- Experience with at least one data-modeling approach, such as Data Mesh, Star Schema, or DataVault.
- Experience with a cloud platform such as Databricks, Snowflake, GCP, Azure, or Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong knowledge of cloud SQL databases, such as Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, or Redshift.
- Experience with storage technologies such as Azure Data Lake Store or S3.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and, preferably, real-time data flows, DataOps, FinOps, and Green Data practices.
- Experience with Agile methods and strong autonomy, organization, communication, knowledge-sharing, and product and solution orientation.
