Responsibilities
- Design and maintain Terraform modules and reusable infrastructure patterns.
- Manage and troubleshoot production Kubernetes EKS clusters, including performance tuning and service mesh implementation.
- Lead security and compliance work involving PCI DSS and SOC2 in partnership with the Security team.
- Define and monitor service reliability metrics, participate in the on-call rotation, and drive post-incident improvements.
- Improve developer experience through automation, CI/CD pipeline improvements, and documentation.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to technical design discussions.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in DevOps, platform, or infrastructure engineering.
- Hands-on software development experience, preferably with Go.
- Experience designing and maintaining infrastructure as code, ideally with Terraform.
- Strong production Kubernetes knowledge, including cluster operations and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, and load balancing.
- Ability to work within security and compliance requirements and mentor engineers while clearly explaining technical decisions.
