Responsibilities
- Design and build Stripe products supporting revenue operations, billing, and financial automation.
- Deliver user-focused solutions collaboratively with stakeholders and customers.
- Design, test, and ship code across services and multiple levels of the stack.
- Debug and resolve critical production issues.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to their professional growth.
Requirements
- 5–12+ years of experience in backend or platform software development.
- Ability to write high-quality code in languages such as Go, Java, C, or C++.
- Hands-on experience contributing to or building large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to contribute to peers’ success.
- Ability to work autonomously with substantial responsibility and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Preferred: familiarity with event-driven architectures.
- Preferred: experience with subscription management, usage-based billing, or financial reporting systems.
- Preferred: interest in financial infrastructure and business revenue operations.
- Preferred: direct leadership and mentorship experience.
