Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architectures using industry-standard technologies and frameworks.
- Design blockchain solutions and decentralized applications on private and public blockchain networks using verified cryptographic protocols.
- Influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.
- Monitor and optimize microservices performance for high availability and responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain application stability.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Advocate for firmwide software development lifecycle frameworks, tools, and practices.
- Implement monitoring and testing practices for blockchain infrastructure security and performance.
- Design and verify cryptographic protocols deployed on blockchain systems.
- Lead adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices and establish standards for validating AI-generated outputs.
- Coach senior engineers and leads on compliant, secure, and responsible AI-assisted engineering workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of applied experience in software engineering concepts and practices, supported by formal training or certification.
- A degree in Computer Science or Mathematics, or equivalent work experience in a related field.
- Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability for distributed systems.
- Practical development experience on blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, or similar.
- Strong object-oriented programming background and hands-on backend API and distributed microservices development experience with Solidity, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Understanding of blockchain cryptographic principles, including encryption algorithms, key management, and key wallets.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Ability to independently address design and functionality problems with little to no oversight.
- Experience leading the effective use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating their correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Preferred: financial markets experience.
- Preferred: Solidity smart-contract development using Hardhat, Truffle, and Slither scanning.
- Preferred: AWS, EKS, and Docker experience.
- Preferred: blockchain interoperability and RDBMS experience.
- Preferred: knowledge of DevOps practices and continuous integration and deployment tools.
