Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, and development of advanced cloud networking solutions.
  • Develop Python- and Go-based distributed systems supporting intelligent firewalls, real-time telemetry analytics, and LLM-integrated threat automation.
  • Mentor engineering teams and provide technical and thought leadership to a global organization.
  • Drive strategies and technologies that improve cloud network performance, scalability, and security.
  • Research emerging cloud networking trends and technologies and promote relevant best practices.
  • Present technical vision and roadmaps to stakeholders and align initiatives with business goals.
  • Lead large-scale cross-geography initiatives, including hackathons, idea generation, implementation, and delivery.
  • Contribute to industry standards and participate in technical conferences and committees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in software development and cloud networking.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud networking architectures, protocols, and technologies, with experience architecting security and networking solutions.
  • Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams and large-scale initiatives across geographies.
  • Hands-on ability to code, debug, and deliver effective fixes or solutions while serving as a subject matter expert.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, microservices architecture, observability systems, AI technologies, and practical AI implementation.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks including Zero Trust, NIST CSF, and CIS Benchmarks.
  • Strong strategic problem-solving, communication, presentation, innovation, and industry-influence skills.
  • Patent holders in cloud networking or security are preferred.
  • Experience with LLM application design, including RAG, LangChain, and vector databases, is preferred.
  • Expertise in network telemetry analytics and visualization, open-source network security or AI framework contributions, distributed systems scaling, resilient cloud design, and multi-cloud policy federation is preferred.
  • AWS Security Specialty, GCP Cloud Security Engineer, CISSP, or CKA certifications are preferred.
