Base Salary
$141k - $162k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop containerized services for a distributed, multi-tenant system processing real-time events, network telemetry, and public-cloud data.
- Design, defend, implement, and deliver reliable services and architectures.
- Own critical features and subsystems across the full software development lifecycle, including deployment and customer usage.
- Own operational aspects of the system and improve software supportability through hands-on operation.
- Maintain code quality through developer, functional, and integration testing.
- Partner with Product Management to refine requirements and develop a deep understanding of customer problems.
- Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree; a master’s degree is a plus.
- At least two years of experience building distributed and scalable software and systems.
- Experience with Go and SQL, REST API clients, and a Unix/Linux programming environment.
- Extensive API- or programming-level experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience delivering containerized services on Kubernetes is desired.
- General TCP/IP networking knowledge is required.
- Networking and security controls experience is a plus.
- CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible experience is nice to have.
- Ability and willingness to continually learn, keep up with technology trends, and work in a team setting.
