Responsibilities
- Organize deployment of AI workflows and architectures across diverse AI and technology platforms.
- Design and implement solutions that integrate enterprise technology ecosystems with AI models and multi-provider platforms.
- Prepare technical design specifications and written knowledge-transfer materials.
- Implement, test, maintain, support, and improve software based on technical specifications.
- Review requirements, architecture, design documents, and code changes, and participate in architecture and code reviews.
- Lead development of robust and scalable web services and improve existing codebases.
- Investigate new technologies, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist customer support with technical problems.
- Collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional teams to deliver technical designs and projects.
- Mentor less experienced developers and lead work within project contexts.
- Translate AI innovation, automation, and LLM capabilities into business and productivity impact.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience in Java full-stack development.
- At least 10 years of experience developing systems or software for large business environments.
- Required 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong object-oriented design and service-oriented architecture principles, preferably implemented with Java.
- Strong experience leading architecture, design, and implementation of robust, highly scalable web services.
- Experience with AWS or Azure SaaS infrastructure, DevOps technologies, and extensive debugging.
- Understanding of unit, test-driven, functional, and performance testing.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database systems and data architecture.
- Preferred experience with React, Pulsar, and Snowflake.
- Experience with software security-enhancing tools and best practices and at least one shell scripting language.
- Understanding of big data, machine learning, LLMs, automation, cloud, DevOps, and AI modernization initiatives.
- Ability to operate across business strategy, product strategy, technical design, and implementation.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, presentation, facilitation, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Customer-focused, results-oriented approach with the ability to balance short- and long-term product goals.
