Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, and maintain embedded software across the full development lifecycle for wireless research prototypes, operator trials, demonstrations, and industry showcases.
- Optimize performance and timing constraints in real-time embedded systems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design descriptions, architecture specifications, usage notes, and release notes.
- Collaborate with baseband, RF systems, hardware, and test/integration engineers.
- Research emerging technologies and contribute to the evolution of wireless system architectures.
- Debug complex software systems and optimize system performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field plus relevant software engineering experience; alternatively, a master’s degree with relevant experience or a PhD.
- At least 2 years of software engineering or related experience under one stated qualification path, with another section specifying 3 years for a bachelor’s degree or 2 years for a master’s degree.
- Proficiency in C and C++.
- Understanding of multithreading and operating-system fundamentals.
- Knowledge of wireless communication theory and systems such as 5G NR or 802.11 is preferred.
- Experience implementing and optimizing signal-processing algorithms on general-purpose and heterogeneous processors, including GPUs and DSPs, is preferred.
- Experience with complex software debugging, system performance optimization, device drivers, and new hardware-platform bring-up is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
